I would love to buy the Snappy Sharp Cheese you no longer sell. You told me it's because "people" over-bought the cheese. I understand your limit was 2, or 2 lbs. and saw a gentleman buying 6 or 7 at once a year or two ago. Could I please ask in all sincerity..... Wouldn't you make a great profit if you brought in more cheese/wheels from (Shelburne Farms?) and then just sell more quantity? Wouldn't you profit more to boot? I asked something similar and was told that no, you then had to age it in house. But why not age a bunch of it and make a great profit? Thanks for listening. I've loved your shop for 25 years!

It's the only place to get REAL cheddar cheese. My family expects a gift of their cheese every Christmas and birthday.

This place has been making NY Cheddar since 1923. Its known for their cheeses, pies and nostalgic candy selection. We grabbed 5 different cheeses, pepperoni/salami platter, fig jam, sea salt caramels, a mini berry pie, a pack of clove gum and crackers. Everything you need to make a delicious cheese plate!

Great pick old fashion candies. Cheeses delicious every time. The owner/lady at register was very nice. Wasn't mean or anything like the other warnings I read. She was very helpful.

Still a great place to pick up Mourningkill Farm pies. Have I mentioned they have lots of "old-time" and difficult to find candy for sale? Some candies you may not even have heard of before. That's why I bought this Nestle Coffee Crisp to try ($2.45). Movie theater price! But I just read that this candy bar is only available in Canada. Eh?

Great cheese shop that has a lot of other things packed inside. The woman was helpful and sarcastic with a dry delivery. I thought she was great, but she may rub some people the wrong way. Nonetheless, we made a 20 minute detour on our road trip and it was worth it.

The cheese here is phenomenal. In fact, too good! I bought some bear cheese, their cheddar cheese and some cheddar/blue cheese spread a few days before leaving to go to my house on the cape. What a mistake. I bought it too soon. We ate most of it before we left, sooooooo back to Waterwheel I went the day before we left for the cape. This time I bought more cheese. A a special treat I also bought clotted cream for my homemade scones. YUM! Major Nor'easter on Capecod but we had lots of comfort food. Plenty of cheese and crackers and I made Mac and cheese from their cheddar cheese and it was fabulous. This will definitely be a regular stop for me from now on. Why are you still here reading this??!? Get in your car and drive to Galway for heaven's sake and get some cheese!! I
